Have you always wanted to learn how to sew but weren't sure where to begin? Look no further—this workshop is designed just for you!

In this session, you will create a unique cushion cover using your favourite fabric. You will have a selection of cushion styles to pick from (please see example photos).  This project is ideal for beginners and those with some sewing experience, so if you are new to sewing, rest assured that I will guide you through every step of the process. As a bonus if time permits, we will also make a beautiful scrunchie.

We provide all the necessary sewing machines, so there is no need to bring your own.

Workshop Details:

Two Sessions Available
- Morning Session: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Afternoon Session: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

What's Included
- A 3 hour workshop led by Blaize.
- Sewing machines for your use.
- A complimentary digital sewing pattern and instructions for your personal use at home.
- A selection of fabrics and thread will be available, in case you forget to bring your own.

What to Bring
- For your project, please select a fabric measuring 100cm in length and 113cm in width. I recommend using cotton, linen, or wool. Don't be overly concerned about the width, as most fabrics typically come in widths of 142 cm, which will work well. The specified 113 cm is the width of smaller fabric rolls.
- Matching thread.

If you're unsure where to purchase fabric or thread, visit Hitchin Market, open on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, where you'll find a fabric stall and a haberdashery.

The workshop will take place at ‘The Hermitage Coffee and Bagel Bar’ in Hitchin town.
